ITT awarded contract to build the Imaging System for the GeoEye-2 Earth-Imaging Satellite
ROCHESTER, N.Y., August 31, 2010 – ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) announced today that it has received a contract from Lockheed Martin Space Systems, a major operating unit of Lockheed Martin Corporation, to continue building the imaging system for GeoEye’s next-generation Earth-imaging satellite, GeoEye-2. The GeoEye-2 imaging system consists of the camera and sensor subsystem, optical telescope unit and outer barrel assembly. ITT has been working on long-lead items for GeoEye-2 since October 2007, under a separate contract directly with GeoEye.

ITT commences work on NASA's Space Communications Network Services contract
HERNDON, VA, – July 13, 2010 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT), today announced that it has again been awarded the Space Communications Network Services (SCNS) contract by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center to support its space and near-Earth networks. These networks provide most of the communications and tracking services for a wide range of Earth-orbiting spacecraft, including the International Space Station, the space shuttle, the Hubble Space Telescope and the Earth Observing System satellites.

ITT awarded $800 million in Afghanistan National Security Forces facilities support contracts
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., – August 2, 2010 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) has received two contracts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District to provide facilities operations, maintenance and training services for the Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF) in Afghanistan. Each award is for a one-year base period with options for four additional years. The contract for Northern Afghanistan is valued at up to $450 million and the contract for Southern Afghanistan is valued at up to $350 million for a total of up to $800 million if all options are exercised. The two contracts are independent of one another.

ITT part of team awarded NASA range operations contract
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., – July 15, 2010 – ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT), as a subcontractor to LJT & Associates, Inc., is part of a team that has been awarded a contract to provide comprehensive range operations services at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. The award is for a five-year base period with an estimated value of $117 million to the entire LJT team.
